Natural gas is used in a variety of applications, including heating, cooling, lighting, cooling systems, heating oil, and cooling air conditioners.

Natural gas production and use are expected to grow in the United States by 40 per cent by 2025 and nearly 50 per cent over the next decade.

That growth will occur as the U.S. becomes more energy independent, but natural gas is expected to remain the primary source of energy for the foreseeable future.
